WELCOME
Bethel AME Church is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. Happy Birthday Tribute to Rev. Dr. Dennis Laffoon
On this special day, the entire congregation of Bethel AME Church celebrates and honors our beloved shepherd, Rev. Dr. Dennis Laffoon.
Pastor Laffoon, your life and leadership have been a living testimony of the wisdom found in Proverbs 3:5-6 — “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” You have not only preached this Word, but you have walked it out before us with humility, faith, and unwavering trust in God.Through your guidance, you have taught us that ministry is not just about programs or preaching—it is about people, connection, and authentic relationships. You have shown us how to love deeply, lead faithfully, and serve selflessly. Because of you, Bethel continues to not just be a church—it is a family.
Your commitment to building meaningful relationships—within our congregation and throughout the community—has strengthened our faith and unified our hearts. You remind us that true ministry happens when we walk alongside one another, encourage one another, and grow together in Christ.
Today, we thank God for your life, your leadership, your vision, and your heart for His people. We celebrate the impact you continue to make and the lives you continue to transform.
May this new year bring you renewed strength, divine favor, abundant joy, and continued clarity as you follow God’s direction.
With love, honor, and deep appreciation,
The Bethel AME Church Family
